why does the battery light come on when i am driveing

when driveing my van for the last 2 days the battery light comes on why

its not charging...i would say...running off the battery..will soon be dead

Most common cause when battery light comes on is the alternator is not charging / not working.

I have the same problem and it is charging might be something with the sending unit to the computer not getting the signal or it might be the battery doesn’t charge for a short time and so the light stays on
