when i drive my 2007 mercury grand marquis it seems to drag in the front. Also,
sometimes the engine seems to miss....

Check to see if your front wheels/rotors are hot after driving. Frozen calipers would make it hot, and maybe smoke. Take it to an auto store and have it scanned and see if there's any defects. How many miles on the spark plugs?
