I just bought a mini 2007 and the engine light turned
on. The car started jerking while driving and I'm not
sure if that is supposed to happen and the service
lights turned on but I'm not exactly sure what to
check?

Do U mean "Check engine " light? Before doing anything .. call the person who sold it to U ... make sure that the car was not misrepresented because it's a crime to do that (unless your contract says "as is"
