I estimate conservatively that if you put $65,000 into this car will be worth $65,095 (assuming a new battery and full tank of gas. Good luck!

Jewell, issue #68 Hemmings Classic Car features a restored 63 Le Mans convert, a lovely little car, with the 326 auto, listed in what to pay, low 5k, (driver) average 15k (condition 2+) high 25k.(condition 1) These prices are for running viable cars, not basket cases, You can call Hemmings for a back issue on 800 227-4373, I recommend subscribing, it's a brilliant monthly. GTO prices are 3X the price, and the LeMans is gaining value all the time. Parts can all be sourced thru Hemmings Motor News, sheet metal out of AZ,floors are shared with Olds F-85 and Buick Skylark. A 63 hardtop 4 cyl needing full resto is in this months HMN asking 1200. It's worth doing but to flip it for a big profit is not going to happen. Glen

Sad part is that it will not be worth what you put into it. Even if the frame and engine are useable, it will conservatively cost $50K to put back on the road in nice condition. On the open market you probably would not get that much for it - Maybe $25K for a car in really good shape with the right paper trail. So restore it if you just want to have it for yourself to drive, otherwise leave it rest in peace!

taver91 Indeed, even the body is unit contruction, but if it makes Jewell's heart beat it's worth it, and I think your figures are bit inflated, maybe in a ground up resto in New York. Just saying, Glen

I had a '63 le mans/gto. It was that kind of gold/copper/brown, no rust. 326 V-8 up front and a powerglide trans axle in back. What a kick! I left it at my Grandmothers farm for about a year. It was gone when I went back to get it in 78. She may have sold it. I still have the Arkansas tittle for it. One sold on ebay recently for $256,000.00. Around six months ago some one paid $347,000.00 for one. I don't feel so good. Anyway, it should be worth all time and money you want to spend on it.

Anyone knows where I can find this list of parts for my 63 Lemans? Kick panels..steering wheel..park lock cable...hubcaps...interior door emblems (chrome) under windows both sides.

where is this junkyard? if there is a lot of brush you will be looking at a ton of rust damage.parts are hard to find for those yrs. unless you're a good welder & have unlimited $$, stay away, i've been restoring a 65 lemans for years ,i've put thousaands into it already & its not even running yet. body work is very time consuming & very precise. if you want a restorable car try out west ,arizona, nevada. no rust there.

Well, even if the car is beyond restoration you still may be able to sell parts off of it. These cars are getting hard to find now. Decent emblems =$, front fenders that aren't completely rotted out=$, grill?, door handles, light switch, heater controls, shifter, etc, etc. All these parts can be put on eBay for quick cash. Something to think about. Saw a completely rotted out 63 Tempest station wagon go for like 6500.00 on eBay. Something you think isn't worth anything is worth a lot to someone who's looking for it. Thats what eBay is based on.......

not as good as a 64-65 lemans, these years have more value than the 62-63. mainly because of the GTO,which is the most cloned car around. plus the parts from lemans will fit the same year GTO, which makes them more valuable to restorers.
