Longevity of 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix

Asked by Jeffy Feb 23, 2008 at 08:28 PM about the 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: General

What is the highest mileage a 1989 Grand Prix LE has ever reached?  One with a 2.8 engine.  Ours has 274,000 miles on it.  We wonder if it's better to keep it repaired or trade it for something else.  We absolutely love the car and really don't want to give it up.

Then I would keep it, "We absolutely love the car and really don't want to give it up." is your quote. I have seen these cars get to this mileage, I have one sitting at my aunts with 358982miles on it. The only reason that it is not being driven is that It was side swipped, The only problems were the outside door handles and the struts (cost). Enjoy it. Best of luck
