I had a new alternator put in & now my radio will not
power on, no sounds with blinker, no backup assist, no
sound when key left in ignition.

I figure they disconnected the battery when replacing generator. Sometimes when battery voltage is lost, some vehicle systems may have to relearn or be reprogrammed? If that is the case, you may need to talk to service department at your local dealership? If a shop did the work, talk to the shop, see if they will make it right? Just my opinion.
