Could be you completely drained your battery beyond the point of recovery due to a failed alternator. The car will run until the battery is dead then quit unless it is getting recharged by the alternator. As for your wheel becoming tight, that will happen when your engine quits and it no longer turning your power steering pump. This is not related to your stall problem. Part stores can check your alternator if you bring it to them.
