Did you recycle Freon and vacuum system down and recharge or just tried to shoot some in the system.

We just tried to shoot some in the system because we thought it just needed to be recharged to blow out cold air

Is the compressor and both fans coming on. If not you have a failed fan. If fan is running. Check to see if you have voltage to compressor. If fan has failed check to see if you have voltage.

First check in junction block and make sure fuse is ok. You can Check that by using a continuity tester or light tester. Attach to ground side of battery to Check for voltage. And to Check for ground, attach to positive side of battery. Were just checking for power right now in the junction block. Block is on driver side right above strut tower.

Theres a magnet somewhere in all of that. Mine did the same. A friend told me and walked me through the repair.
