I have a Volkswagen Jetta and the A/C isnt blowing out
cold air it's just blowing out cool Air we've tried to
recharge it to see if that was the problem but the gauge
reads in the red. What exactly does that mean?
Did you recycle Freon and vacuum system down and recharge or just tried to shoot some in the system.
We just tried to shoot some in the system because we thought it just needed to be recharged to blow out cold air
Is the compressor and both fans coming on. If not you have a failed fan. If fan is running. Check to see if you have voltage to compressor. If fan has failed check to see if you have voltage.
We can hear the fan coming on so how do we check for voltage?
First check in junction block and make sure fuse is ok. You can Check that by using a continuity tester or light tester. Attach to ground side of battery to Check for voltage. And to Check for ground, attach to positive side of battery. Were just checking for power right now in the junction block. Block is on driver side right above strut tower.
If you have a volt meter that will work to.
