1997 Class-C Mercedes Benz - Engine problems?

The car will start shaking because of the engine and the check engine light will turn on. When I turn it off
and turn it on again, it's fine, but I took it in to the dealer's and they said it was bad gas. I put plus gas
into the car already. And it's continuing to shake randomly. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

1997 C230 AIR CONDITIONING BLOWS AIR, BUT NOT COLD AFTER SITTING IN THE SUN NOT RUNNING SUGGESTION
