Help VW beetle 2000 key fob won't work, alarm issues

My 2000 beetles key fob died, not battery issue I need it reprogrammed and
that's going to cost a pretty penny, so right now I open the driver door with
the key, put the key into the ignition as fat as possible and turn to prevent the
alarm from sounding. I'm trying to find a different solution just until I've the
money to fix the key which will be soon but not yet! Would it work if I pulled
the horn fuse out or would that do something horrendous? I'm looking for a
short fix and need help asap thanks everyone!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CJdGCTaW8Q This shows steps to reprogram your key if there's no second key. If you do have the second key, then it's less steps to do this.

Thanks so much I’ve actuallly watched this and even trying all the tools I. My box nothing will get that bad body to loosen, it seems old and eroded firm that’s why I was asking about the horn fuse hoping it might solve the issue without cause other problems in the short ter

Pulling the fuse wouldn't hurt anything but your horn won't be there for whenever you need it as you're driving.

put the key in the hatch lock and unlock it. problem solved ,till the next time you disconnect the battery.
