Need help with volkswagon beetle

I'm looking to buy a car for my daughter it's
got 114,000 miles on it otherwise body
looks great. I just don't know much about
this and don't want her spending her money
on a piece of crap car..we're not expecting
perfect but don't want to get screwed
either..it's at a small car dealer what should
I look for or ask it's automatic anything that
anyone can give me to look out for please..

A great car in a collision- one saved my daughter's life- twice- but with that mileage, things will go wrong- I recommend the New Beetle for safety- but I recommend buying one from a private owner so you can track how it was maintained- and driven- hopefully gently- and with lower miles-
