Why is my 2007 Kia Optima wheel is locked and car won't start ?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've tried using my left hand to pull down on the looser side of the wheel while
turning the ignition, I've tried spraying DW40 into key hole while turning it, I've
also tried bamming the key whilst in the ignition and I've tried pulling the
wheel vigorously all of which was suggested. Now I'm out of options can
anyone help?

Is there pressure against the front wheels, like turned into a curb causing pressure on the steering wheel? And try moving the shift lever more into park.

No I always straighten my wheels while parking. I've also tried moving the shift lever into park

You may have to look for the linkage that runs down from the key lock cylinder to the ignition switch and push up on that rod.
