could it be the cam sensor?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

replaced the crankshaft sensor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor , dist. module, coil, and still won't start.

Moved it one day and went to  use it and it turned over but would not start?
Could it be the cam sensor?
1997 Dodge ram 4x4 318 auto

yeah it could be the cam sensor. check and see if it getting spark. If it is then its not the cam sensor it would be the fuel pump i would think

Eric, it was none of the things we replaced, husband decided to tap on a black plug near the fire wall on the drivers side under the hood, and the damn thing started right up. yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thanks.

hah he must of tapped on the fuse box. well a fuse could of just been loose. but thats great it started up
