v10 99 dodge ram 2500 shifting trouble

i have a 99 dodge ram 2500 everytime i go up the mountain or high altitude like woodland park here in colorado i turn my truck off than back on it wont shift so im stuck going 25-30mph until i get to colorado springs or denver turn it off and back on again and it works fine again this only happens in high altitude i have looked everywhere for a solution but got nothing has anyone had this problem? and how to fix it

i tried the MAP sensor already it didnt work but maybe its because i bought it from autozone instead of OEM part
