Truck turns off if it’s cold

Asked by Apr 20, 2018 at 01:07 AM about the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m about to buy a 03 Dodge Ram and the only
thing that it has wrong is that it it starts when it’s
cold but i have to let it get warm before I can go
because if I don’t it will turn off. I know it’s normal to
let your car warm up before leaving the house but
it’s not normal for it to stop like that. Any ideas as to
what it is? Should I get it?

Wave off...unless you're a good mechanic or have lotsa money or time to invest. Buy one that's working properly.
