Sounds like the filament inside that light Is broken and is periodically touching the other end of its connection causing the light to come on and off.. or Possibly the base of the bulb is no longer seated snug Inside the instruments circuit panel.. Does it only do it when you're driving down the road? Or does it do it randomly even at a sit still?

Grab and rattle everything starting at the switch to the instrument panel...If no changes are apparent ...eg.s...random on and off or sporadic flashing..and it's that light only? With all the other instrument panel lights working correctly? ...your going to have to dig into the dash and get to that bulb...Look the procedures up on the Internet....or be prepared to bust up a bunch of plastic..
