I have a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser

In morning when I start my car up  the idles up to
load sit for a minute for it to go down then take off
off can still hear the car idling loud and then it
goes down especially when I'm at a stop light the
idling is l loud and then it goes  down on the
dashboard where the drivegage where you shift the
car  right above the d it says error  show me things
like the gas gauge need to be reset I really don't
know why I was just saying.

High idle speed sounds like a vacuum problem. Check your PCV valve and hose
