when I first start my F150 it has a loud ticking noise but then quiets down after it is warm but the noise is still there 2 Answers
F150 has loud ticking on initial start-up. but quiets as the engine gets warm. Although the ticking is still present but not as loud.

Car wont start. plenty of power from Battery. all the guages work. there is a loud click when key is turned, but starter wont kick in. the starter has not been acting up and has performed perfectly.. 4 Answers
I suspect starter solenoid is bad. The starter motor has not given me any problems.

it will not turn over from the starter are the key but will start when you short the starter out .I put a neutral switch and battry in it the alam all work's right
