I have 2002 Ford F150 for some reason when I mash the petal it want go, it's putting but it idles I thought I had bought some bad gas or something so I drained my tank completely and installed a new fuel filter. That didn't seem to fix it. A friend of mine told me it was my fuel pump but why would it still idle fine if it was the fuel pump? Today someone els told me it could be my throttle body. Can someone give me and idea what it could be?

Thanks Bob, I forgot to mention earlier that we couldn't get a code on it for some reason, it's pretty strange because the engine check light is on

Did the code scanner connect to it? If not check the fuse in the truck.
