2005 f150 4.6 liter
I added Bosch 4 hole injectors, and high voltage
coil packs. Now I have a bad raw fuel smell on cab
and outside of truck while running ,but havent
found any leaks anywhere...and my scanner is
saying system too rich bank one.... I have reset all
codes and this keeps coming back..any ideas on
these two issues
You could use a fuel pressure gage, check for proper fuel pressure then with key off, see if it holds for a bit. If pressure drops like a rock, you have a pressure leak. You can smell of your crankcase oil dipstick, if it smells like gas, it's over fueling or you don't change the oil and filter very often. Possible issues listed in text.
If these are high flow fuel injectors you need to install injectors with the stock flow rate!
Trying to beef it up a bit..and keep the high voltage coils and injectors..
I agree with F O R, if it isn't stock, it may cause problems.
