I just bought a 1980 thunderbird with an electronic dash. The fuel gauge and speed displays are very faint. Can I buy a replacement with fresh brightness for these anywhere?

If you have a very faint display, 99% of chance to have a loose conductor inside your dash. Just remove it and reconnect the loose conductor. No need to replace it.
