Sound insulation IN ENGINE bay on firewall ( Safety)

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ive completed the appropriate sound insulation INSIDE the car but want to know if anyone knows about insulation ON the FIREWALL INSIDE the engine bay, Is it possible? any particular type of insulation ( name etc) and has anyone done it?

You can buy the original sound proofing kit at several Thunderbird suppliers. Google them. I used Larry's Thunderbird when I bought mine.
