Asked by Neil Mar 15, 2021 at 10:46 AM about the 1963 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

sometimes when I start the car I can hear a slight "click" from inside the
engine bay at the top of the firewall, but then the car doesn't start. , there is
an item that looks like a relay. then if the ignition doesn't light, I tap this and
the ignition comes on and the car starts. I probably need a new one but
what's it called
it's on the firewall at the top in the middle about 2-inch square wires going
into /through the firewall??
what's it called and who sells them if this is faulty
