My odometer quit working in my 1959 thunderbird.  How can I fid the wires or
fuses to repair it?

I think back in those days the speedometer (odometer) was run by a rotating metal cable inside a flexible steel sheath. It ran between the speedometer and the transmission. If you can disconnect it at the speedometer you can withdrawn the cable to see if it's broken. The other half would come out the other end. I don't think any of it is electrical.
