1985 Ford ranger 6cyl starts die at light then just turns over

I got my truck home after not starting then 2 days
later I tried to start it it started and then I gave it
some gave and died again turned over but won’t
start, I have replace fuel pump in the past yr and
fuel filter.

Sounds like it is getting too much gas in comparison to air. Have you checked for breathing issues? PCV or crankcase ventilation issues? Air box clogging?
