Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the clutch and slave cylinder by sliding back trans, ran great for 2 days. Started running warm and sluggish. Had it scanned came up as short in ground wire to fuel pump. Fixed only short i could find nothing changed. Can't find any leaks or,kinks in the fuel line. Replaced high pressure pump, fuel filter, and pressure regulator still nothing. Fuel pressure gauge says I have 40 lbs with vacum hose off of pressure regulator and truck running. With vacum line and switch on i have 40 lbs but only 32 lbs when running. Timming is set at 10 advanced but act like it's off. Very sluggish on bottom end then picks up on top end but not like it should.
