I have a 1976 suburban that has a GCW rating at 15000 pounds. It is a special trailing edition with a 7.4 litre in it. Just want to know the torque and horsepower?

Hello cesarn-- The 1976 Suburban with the 454 engine produced 240 hp.at 3800 rpms. It also produced 370 foot pounds of torque at 2800 rpms. Did you think I knew this off the top of my head? Well I didn't remember it exactly so I went to the following site-- http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/GMTrucks/1976/pages/1976%20Chevy%20Suburban-02_jpg.htm. You might also have fun looking at this facsimile of an original brochure. Good luck from Bovan.
