Thinking about buying a 1984 Monte carlo

Looking into buying an 84 Monte Carlo was
wondering if it's a good car or if I should walk
away.  I'm fairly mechanically savy and can do
most standard work on cars it's got 117000 miles
what should I be expecting if I buy it.
