Mileage is key, as well as condition. The late 1970s-early 1980s vehicles are currently undervalued. Assuming in decent overall shape you might sell this for $2500-5000 depending on location, condition, etc.

Not sure about the price, but i had 79 monte from 1986 til 1991. When got it had 60.000 miles and when done it had well over 140,000. I't was a florida car when i got, I live in western ny. The engine wouldn't die. The reason I got rid of it was because I fell asleep on the highway and transformed the front end into an accordian. However at the impound lot I asked the guy if I could try and start it, and he laughed and said knock yourself out. I laughed in the end because it started right up!
