its an awesome classic. ide suggest dont go above 3000 but if it needs restoring i think u shud get it
Depends on what is is. Convertibles and fastbacks are the most desirable body shape, and you'll have a nice-looking car with a minimum spend. If you are looking at performance, the SS models with all the fruit are the factory hot rods and the big block 396 and 427 cars are the real goers here. Look for - intact floors (bad for rust), no frame corrosion, no abuse from past owners such as roll cage weld marks from racers, and just remember they are a 42yr old car so you're not going to easily find a show pont for $500 anymore!! Have fun In my humble opinion, a nice clean well detailed '67 Impala will have a great look to it
I paid 6k for a 1965 impala. I drove it home and the first thing I have to do was the brakes. But the body and interior are in great shape. This was worth it to me, what is your 67 worth to you..does it run? how much work to get it running. If you have to tow it pay under 1k if it runs and you can drive home its 4k or more.
Great buy! I had a '63 pillarless sedan with a 409 in it (not original) and I found a front disc brake upgrade was the best thing I couldve done to it!
