If a 1991 Corvette is how you roll Sundance, I'm guessing you can probably swing a Chilton's manual which will provide great detail about how to remove the door panel (avoiding that annoying cosmetic damage) and replace that seal. You can even try your local library, which may have your cars Chilton's, or try your favorite mall bookstore and see if you can sit down with the Chilton's for your vette and a nice latte! Good luck!

Remove sliding lock switch by lifting it toward you with a screwdriver, it will pop off the control rod. Remove the screw revealed. Gently pry off courtesy lamp above latch handle, remove screw underneath, as well as screw visible behind latch handle. Remove 2 screws in door pull cup, and release power window control panel carefully, lifting up and out. Now remove screw on door jamb edge of panel above hatch release button if present. Remove 5 screws at door bottom at edge of carpet. Disconnect power window switch wires, power lock switch wires, hatch release wires, and carefully withdraw courtesy light through opening to free door panel completely. Some models and years have additional minor screws, speakers, etc. just proceed carefully, these are the main points. Also take care to secure and or label screws, and nylon retainers that attach the screws to the door so they are not lost. Depending on year, again, there may be a sound deadening foam panel covering access cutouts into door cavity that can be removed and reused. If one does not exist, this is a great time to add one to quiet road noise, when you are done, before replacing panel.
