how do i ge tmy heater to work, the a/c works great, but the heater wont  heat,  both water hoses are hot, to the  heater core,

let it cool down take off top raidor hose at theromostat housing 1 clamp removehose now remove thermo.housing 1/2or 9/16socket,see if it has athermostat in it if dose take out look on top see if open,or spring pushed down,better yet go to autostore get 195 temp and gasket clean both ends of housing very good put thermo in gasket to housing tighten up not to tight housing is allumun.fill with antifrezeand crank turn heater to de frost fan wide open let get to operating temp.you should have heat let cool down and check antifreze in rad. if low fill also check reserve tank if cold engine fillto cold in tank.know this is a long post but worth it if right.let me know.

Hot Hoses To The Heater Coar With No Heat Inside Car=CLOGED Heater Coar Most Times. On A Cool Car. NOT HOT Jently Remove Heater Coar Hoases BOTH.DO NOT TWIST HOSES TO REMOVE, This Will KILL Your HC. Use A Hose Removal Tool. With Hoses Gone..Look In Coar.Is It Cloged?? Try Flushing The Coar With A Garden Hose.
