why is my car stopping and starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 96 Toyota camry and my car stopped on
me on the highway from work and I got it towed
home. Tried to restart it the next day and it
wouldn't start so I got the alternator checked and it
was gud. Checked the starter and replaced the
starter and now it starts and stops. I go around the
block it shuts off and when I tried to make it to the
auto parts store to put on the machine it stopped.
My cuzin had to push me bck to the house can u
help me.
