If you have the work done at a repair shop, take it back. It's probably something caused by a air leak. -- They can read the codes and see what turned the CEL on.

Take it to the shop that installed your starter. or go to Auto zone and let them read the code first then decide what action to take. It could be something simple and quick to fix.
