Starter??

Question type: General

Buddy has 95 silverado. I asked a previous
question about it which the answer was
helpful. But I may have explained it wrong.
Truck wont start. And when you turn key to
start the truck. It makes the sound when you
have all ready started ur vehicle and u try
starting it again while it running. Any ideas
of what it could b? Replaced starter worked
2 or 3 times and now it's doing same thing.
Any help appreciated! Thank you.

Means you need to figure out the right combination of shims to put in-between the starter and the mounting surface.

It's the wrong started make sure it's the 10 volt not the. Volt that's what happened to my 94 Chevy Silverado they both look the same the 8 and the 10 I bought the 8th and it was the wrong one so I took it back and got the 10 and I had no problems after that my truck made the same noise trying to start it I hope this is helpful
