I have a 1996 chevy s10 and the guy I got it from said it had lowering blocks in the rear end and that they broke and he put some wood blocks into replace them now it sways when letting off the gas

Wow, does it come with a shade tree? Yes, definitely go get some proper blocks. they are cheap.
