check fuses for the gauges, or it could be a bad ground for the instrument cluster.

GM had problems with dash clusters, mine went from on gauge not working, and I couldn't have light for gear shift. Then fairly fast the other gauges. They are pretty easy to replace about 20 minutes, there are videos on line. Price's vary for the cluster and you have to send back the core. Mine is 2003 Silverado and based on what I looked on the computer it happens around the 100,000 mark plus or minus. But if you look it up on your computer, it will give you the years and engines that were affected. A place to start.

Like I mentioned above, if the gauges are going out, and the truck still runs fine, it is probably the dach cluster. Look up your vehicle on your computer, and then look at reviews and you will find out if other people had problems like this. I found that my 2003 and other years had cluster problems, and they don't make anymore so you get a rebuilt, and they vary in prices and there is a core charge mine cost 134, plus core charge. You send the core back in same box no charge and they reimburse you the core charge. Easiest install I have ever had on a dash. But if vehicle runs good and have no other problems it's the cluster mine start voltage, then oil, the engine temp and so on. Computer boots it back with your miles, you have on vehicle. You don't have to do anything else but follow the instructions you get with the cluster. it's one piece and like I said, easy as can be.
