Holly or Edelbrock

Edelbrock. Easier to tune and I have found to be more reliable.
Agreed, Edelbrock's are far easier to tune and deal with. If you like playing with your carb all the time, and really know what you're doing, then go holly
Im going to have to agree with those two. I'm a FORD NUT and I have an edelbrock on my own Truck. granted its a 400 big block and its only a 2 barrel carb. its pretty simple to tune and works great. I havent had any luck with holly carbs. It seems like they constantly require adjustment. So def go with the Edelbrock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I run holleys ONLY. Much easier to rebuild and tune, they run alot better than edelbrock too, look at what most pro racers run, you'll find it is holley the majority of the time.
edelbog carbs suck, go with a holley
I have 4bbl Edelbrock on my 68 302 around 600 cfm and it works great. Simple to rebuild and work with...but when it really comes down to which it doesn't make a huge difference. Hardcore ford guys will always say holley.

Just put a new Holley 600 avenger on an Elelbrock performer manifold on my 65 mustang 289. Replaced the factors 2 barrel setup. It's awesome from startup through wide open. You can really feel the difference in acceleration. I have an Ebelbrock 650 with the Edelbbrock manifold on my 68 Monterey with a 390. I like both setups. I had a Holley on a 71 Boss 351 and drove it daily for 3 years with no problems. I think I adjusted the carb one time.

Had a 650 holley on 72 Ford high boy. It got 6mpg city and 9-10 hwy lots of power. Did not run well cold and blew power valve a lot.
