I have a 1976 LT with a 350, 4 speed. Can I put a 5 speed from a 91 RS in the 76 and will is holdup?

It will bolt in with some work. Like the trans cross member will be different and the drive shaft as well. Also the shifter will be coming through the floor in a different spot. Your stock 4 speed shifter is on the side of the trans (i believe) and the 1 out of the '91 is closer to the tail and of the trans. It can be done, just with a little work. Have fun!

The T-5 trans that came in the RS Camaros were rated up to 265 lb ft of torque.
