im looking at a 1971 z-28 camaro for sale the speedometer says 150 mph but the tachometer only goes to 7000 rpm i thought the tachometer went to 8000 rpm pleases help

No matter what the tachometer dial goes up to the red line on those 70's 350's is 5500. Several forums agreed on that, I did not arbitrary pick that number
