Actually, 72,272 Chevelle SuperSports were made in 1966. This does not include the canadian-built Malibu SS. US built Malibus were a separate model from SuperSports in 1966. Off the top of my head, ~5412 SS convertibles, ~12,000 Malibu converts, 35,000 El Caminos...
