Does the lock/unlock button on your door panel work? Just wanted to clarify if this is a key fob issue or a problem with the actual system.

Does the passengers side work? I'm just trying to eliminate some of the possibilities. Do you own a multi-meter / are you inclined to do some troubleshooting? Your locks use a "1- wire" system through your BCM "Body Control Module". Your switch will have two wires. A black wire (supply) and a white wire (BCM input). DO NOT USE 12V. your locks work with a negative trigger. Lock uses a straight ground and unlock uses ground with 1.5k Ohms of resistances. You'll want to visually inspect a few fuses. (J-case style) Check fuses 39 (30A), 41 (40A) and 47 (30A). All of these have something to do with your BCM. The fuse for the trunk lock is BCM(pwr) 15A fuse in the instrument panel fuse box (behind panel at drivers right foot) [Unsure what number this fuse is because I have no diagram for the inside] Your best bet is to check any fuse that is labeled "BCM" Let me know once you've checked these fuses. Hopefully this will help / cure the problem.
