Squealing when turning—power steering?

When I start my car, it beings squealing. After it stops and I back out of my
drive, the squealing resumes when I turn the steering wheel. It does the same
thing after sitting at a long red light, and tends to stall out. Any ideas?

Try some belt quite/pledge/painters chalk on the belts to quite them , then if that's it take care of the problem ie. oil/coolant leak , improper tension
1. Belt noise... Either the belt is worn out of there's a pulley with a broken bearing that's refusing to properly turn. See if the engine stalls when you turn on the AC. 2. PS unit... The power steering unit is low of fluid or is defective.
