is there a diference in the firehawk and the firebird other than the name

Yes, Firehawks are firebirds that were modified by SLP. Varying levels of performance mods were put on the firehawks.

hey thanks ive ben trying to find out if the firebird my wife bought me is a fire hawk called slp but tey lost records and i put in my vin on onother site and it came back as a firebird formula/trans am/gt dose enybody know were i can get more info eater way this car is a beast

hey can you tell just buy looking there is know decals on this car exept ram air on the hood witch it dose have and formula v8 on the back know firehawk decals at all but the dealer told my wife it is a firehawk

Found this on firehawk.org In the glove box there is a sticker with RPO numbers. depending on the year, the firehawks had 1 of three... B4U = 1991 and 92 R6V = 93-97 WU6 = 99-02

I have a authentic firehawk First the cars were numbered they only made so many of them I am car 0315. It will have all of the decals that call out firehawk and it has the LT1 vette engine in it Trust me you will know you have a firehawk
