I have a 1998 Pontiac Bonniville...the AC\Heater Blower does not come on all the time. If I go to the passenger side under the dash and whack the unit it will start. What is the real Fix?

my guess could be a loose connection or a bad blower motor resistor pack (usually what goes bad, not necessarily every case) I am wondering if the high speed setting works, if it does works then I would guess that the blower motor resistor block is bad especially the resistor block is located near the blower motor on the passenger side.

Danny...Thanx, I will check the connections, the high speed works but dose not feel strong. This is a new used vehicle for me, my old same make and model blew much harder. What does the resistor block look like, Also could it be the AC/Heater relay ????

Danny curious if what he said worked for your car? Because I am having the same issue with my car.
