Check where your wires plug into the neutral safety switch to make sure you have no worn or broken wires on harness there. If you go from front of car to back of the plug on the safety switch there is an orange wire and an orange with black stripe wire they both controled my 02 pontiac from releasing out of park. They were worn through on insulation and the orange wire had broken. Fixed them and have had no more problems. Might be worth a look.
