Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 Grand Prix has no air/ heat coming out of the vents. I thought it was the blower until I hit the side on the dash (with my hand) and air starting coming out!  I tried to turn it to all speeds and no flow.  Could it be the switch or resistor or what could it be.  Please help it's getting cold up here in Michigan!!!!!!
