Find the flasher relay. It is usually located in or near the fuse box. Put the signals on and gently tap on the relay. If the lights start working or flash once, then the relay is probably bad. Replacement relays are inexpensive (usually less than $10) so it may be worthwhile to buy one for testing purposes.
