Price trend of the 2022 and 2023 Mazda3

The price of the 2022 Mazda3 dropped below its initial sale price two months
after its release. Why?
The trend seems to be the same for the 2023 Mazda3. Any chance it could drop
further?

You'll see the same for all cars. It was due to the unavailability if cars due to supply problems and the escalated prices dealers charged to buyers who needed cars, frequently way over MSRP. That problem has come to an end and prices are just returning to normal now.
