90 nissan max shakes a bit when cranked over

Asked by Jul 25, 2016 at 10:10 AM about the 1990 Nissan Maxima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I stopped driving my 90 nissman max for
couple months and put a new battery in and
now when I crank it over it takes me a
couple tries for it to start up and it shakes
for a few seconds when it does and then it
stops shaking

If you are trying to start it with the couple months old gas in it that is your problem. If not much gas in it add some good gas to it maybe enough to overcome the bad gas and run if not have to remove old gas.
